Good to know
- These are the Federal Reserve's noon buying rates in New York, one value per business day. They are not live prices: there is no minute or hourly data, no open/high/low, no bid/ask and no volume.
- Currencies: euro, British pound, Australian dollar and New Zealand dollar (US dollars per unit), and Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, Swiss franc, Chinese yuan, Korean won, Indian rupee, Mexican peso, Brazilian real, Swedish krona, South African rand, Taiwan dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar, Norwegian krone, Danish krone, Thai baht, Malaysian ringgit and Sri Lankan rupee (units per US dollar).
- The Fed publishes new rates once a week (normally Monday, for the week before). The pack is rebuilt every day, so the newest date can be up to about a week old. Days without a rate (holidays) are left out; nothing is filled in. Official numbers can be revised later.
- Sources: Federal Reserve Board data distributed by FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), marked public domain with a citation requested; the citations are in the pack. This product is not endorsed by the Federal Reserve or FRED.
